Bharat Latthe, MD
Chief Medical Director
Dr. Bharat Latthe is board-certified in Family Medicine, Hospice, and Palliative Care, with over 25 years of experience in caring for elderly patients. He has served as a Medical Director in the hospice setting for 15 years and has extensive experience delivering palliative care across various settings. Dr. Latthe is responsible for the strategic vision and leadership of Geriatric and Palliative Care Associates. His special interests include Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, nutrition, and disease prevention for the elderly.
Hunain Aslam, MD
Associate Medical Director
Dr. Hunain Aslam earned his MBBS from Ziauddin University and completed a fellowship at the University of Iowa. Specializing in Internal Medicine, Palliative Care, and Hospice Care, he has extensive expertise in providing high-quality care for patients with chronic illnesses, especially the elderly. Dr. Aslam takes pride in his ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to provide seamless, patient-centered care. His approach focuses on managing symptoms effectively while fostering an environment of trust and understanding with both patients and their families.
Vaishali Arora, PhD, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Vaishali Arora earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and completed her PA training at Drexel University in 2012. She also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science and is accredited by the NCCPA. With over 11 years of experience in geriatrics, family medicine, and skilled nursing rehab, Vaishali brings extensive knowledge to her practice. A member of the AAPA and an Alpha Honor Society award recipient, she emphasizes the importance of mental well-being and holistic care, guided by her motto, "Meditation keeps medication away."
Raquel Ramirez, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Raquel Ramirez earned her ADN from Lone Star College System, her BSN from the University of Texas School of Nursing, and her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since 2009, Raquel has dedicated her career to geriatric care. Her extensive experience is supported by her membership in the American Nurses Association. Raquel’s approach is centered on delivering compassionate, professional, and individualized care to enhance her patients' quality of life.
Page Shields, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Page Shields completed her ADN from North Harris College, and her BSN and MSN from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With a background in oncology nursing, including certifications in chemotherapy and biotherapy, Page brings extensive clinical and leadership skills to her practice. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care through sound clinical judgment and efficient service.
Destoni Jones, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Destoni Jones earned her BSN from Lamar University and her MSN from Walden University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Specializing in family care, Destoni brings a strong nursing background and a commitment to continuous learning to her role. She is dedicated to a patient-centered approach, treating each individual with respect and compassion, and tailoring her care to improve their overall well-being.
